Hello everyone! Just a quick post to show a few of my little thrift finds this week, as well as to give a big THANKS to all of you who have allowed me to share a little bit of my life with you!
With 300 followers I think it's time for a giveaway! I'm just not sure what it will be! Lol
I'm trying to come up with an idea and should have something posted this week.
I found these little coasters for 1.99 at value village. Love em, they are very coastal don't you think?
Along with a bag of these shells.

One of my weaknesses are clear glass vases. I've become a little more selective lately,
I removed the shells and replaced them with some more wintry themed baubles. (I'm saving the shells for my spring/summer look and can't wait to take them out!)
There were no nails used on this, it's put together with wood and looks quite old. Still don't know what to do with it!
Yes that is my cat on the table! Oh my Aunt would drop dead if she seen this! The animals just love when I'm fussing about taking pics and whatnot. He is also being used as a prop to give you an idea of the size of this chair. I just love it!
I'm working on a project for tomorrow and had a little sneak peek of it but the pic didn't upload/download?
Anyways, you will see it tomorrow...and I'm also working on that 300 follower giveaway! Stay tuned...
Great finds....love the little chair....I hang mine on an peg on the wall...

I always love to see what people find out thrifting...we don't seem to have the treasures here! The chair is fabulous - there's so many things you can do with it until the grandbaby appears!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you that I really really love your wallpaper in the dining room area - is that wallpaper or a stencil? anyway, it's beautiful!

Great finds Kim! I love the little rocking chair and the coastal coasters! :) Glass jars/bases are so great and I have many as well, I just fill them up with things that I find outside and at the beach. :) Can't wait to see what you are working on and congrats on 300!!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning sunny girl!
ReplyDeleteLook at you...300! Woo hoo! I'll do a happy dance for you, after coffee :) Great texture on the little coasters and that antique rocking chair is adorable. Beautiful details! I love finding little quaint pieces like that! Fun to see all your finds! Be well! :D ~Michelle
Great finds!! Love that little chair....it is just too cute to pass up!!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds. I need to start looking for glass containers for the cheap if I'm ever going to do one of those popular candy parties where everything is in a pretty glass jar. The chair is cute too, but I'm totally loving your cat! I grew up with a Siamese and they are soooo pretty. My bro has two of the lighter colors and gray combo, but your cat is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThose coasters are great. Love the texture. The balls in the clear vase are so pretty. I wish I had picked some up. And the little chair, how cute is that? I would have grabbed it too with all those cute details it has.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! And that chair is adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou found some great things! The chair is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat is the most amazing little chair I have ever seen! The patina on it is wonderful! I wouldn't be surprised if it was found to be quite valuable.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that little chair... and really, $3.99?? I wouldn't have passed it by either!

Love the glass vase and the coasters. The little chair is adorable! My MIL kept my husbands rocker from when he was a child. We had it for our children now it has been passed on to a grandchild.

What a sweet little chair. Don't blame you for getting it.
ReplyDeleteHappy 300th...
Wonderful finds! Can't believe the chair was $3.99. What a score!
ReplyDeleteI love the little chair! I imagine it IS old and has quite a story it could tell. Was it a child's chair or perhaps part of a play set for a wealthy little girl from years ago? Wouldn't it be great to find out!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading your posts; the humor is delightful and refreshing! I agree that the cat is free from blame, after all that is where all the attention is being focused!
ReplyDeleteCute chair! You just cannot pass on the price alone, I agree. (Personally, I'd use it for holding my cookbooks...)
ReplyDeleteLove the blog, this is my first visit.
