Hello everyone!
I'm in the midst of sprucing things up...again! lol.
I'm starting with the family room, adding some shells, changing up the cuhsion covers and adding some great beachy candlelight.
I've seen these lovely beachy mason jars filled with candleight everywhere. I seen them at PB last week and loved the way they have them displayed. They had them hanging from an old vintage ladder in an outdoor setting. Can't wait to try that out on the deck soon but will probably hang them from my umbrella.
They look great with some glass candleholders.
I just twisted some wire around the rim of some old mason jars I had in the basement and added a little handle so that they can be hung. A little sand and a votive candle and you've got a pretty little candleholder, So simple to do!
This is how they look lit up at night.
Again during the day.
They look great hanging! Here I've just hung it from the light fixture by the handle, but you can use twine, jute, wire or fishing line to hang them.
Donna at Funky Junk Interiors just posted on Mason Jars with a linky party! you can link up here and look at all that great inspiration, you will be amazed at what can be done with a simple mason jar!
I'll be posting again in the next couple of days to show the rest of the family room spruce up!
Thanks for stopping by and
Be Blessed!

ReplyDeleteI love mason jars, and I'm planning to use them as candleholders for my wedding reception at the beach this summer. Love how yours looks!
ReplyDeleteThese are near and dear to my heart. My hubby and I were married on Alki Beach in Seattle, WA and at our reception we had the candle lit mason jars hanging all over the inside of a willow tree! Thanks for the reminder...I think I'm gonna have to recreate some of these! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteYour jars are so pretty and spring like, can't wait to see pics of them in the backyard this summer. Thanks for your lovely comments and adding me to your bloglist at the side. It was great to see you and chat "blog" with someone who understands! Glad blogger got fixed and your posts are back up again too.

Hi Kim, those jars look great. I love how soft the light looks in a glass jar. The best part is almost everyone has mason jars in their pantry or basement!! Can't wait to see your updates in the family room.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so so pretty!! I consider myself a mason-jar-aholic so this is right up my alley! Thanks for sharing ;)

So lovely! It's too windy at our house to hang them, but they would look just as pretty on the deck table. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by at Beach Cottage Good Life Wednesdays & joining the party!
ReplyDeleteLove your candle holders.
Great idea!
ReplyDeleteSometimes its all about the little things. Changes dont have to be really big , for that "pick me up" that all our rooms (and us) seem to need at times. I was just thinking the other day about doing this very same thing with some of the blue mason jars that i have. I will be doing a porch "spuce up" in the next couple weeks, they would look great hanging out there........Have a great day, Bonnie
